Power Plant Applications
Power plants produce a lot of waste water, primarily from cooling tower blow down. This water consists of suspended solids (typically calcium hardness and silica) limiting the reuse of the water.
Our power plant evaporators are designed using airflow velocity, so the droplets do not dry out in flight. This ensures the wastewater ion contamination is concentrated and returned to the impoundment.
